Gambling
I am an addicted gambler. Have I mentioned that before? Last night after work my friend Bryan and I went to Cactus Pete's for an all night gambling session. I haven't done anything like this since I lived in Minnesota. We stayed up all night playing poker. Then I learned how to play craps. Yeah, that's a fun way to lose money. All the while I was drinking glass after glass of gin and tonic. Needless to say I was toasted and gambling recklessly. Fortunately though, we got comped a free breakfast. I didn't eat much of it though because it felt like I was about to revisit my gin and tonics. Damn those casinos and their free alcoholic beverages. I slammed into the brick wall at breakfast. But I pushed through it and continued gambling, more craps, more poker, a little bit of blackjack. At about noon I was $200 down. Yeah. I can't afford that. Not even a little bit. Ah yes, it's good to see that class in financial management that I took in college is paying off. So I was sitting there, talking with some guys who were playing poker, when Bryan threw $20 in chips my way. He was having a good day at the poker table. I took that to the black jack table and multiplied it by five. In the end, I only lost $100 and a night of sleep. And here I am on the internet instead of going to bed. I've been up for 36 hours straight. What am I doing?
