Wow, Where was the Intervention?
Ok, ok, hypocrite. I wrote that post about not looking back and now I've posted like three things in a row that look back at certain parts of my life. Maybe I posted that because I was experiencing it first hand. Anyway...
I was looking at some of my older posts on this crazy blog. My life was ridiculous back in the day. If you were part of that, why did you let me live that way? How could you put up with me? I was drunk all the time.
I was unattached (from any women and any children), working at a bar, and young. But wow. I'm pretty sure Right Now me would never hang out with Back Then me. Well, I guess it's more Drunk me versus Sober me. It's just that Drunk me doesn't come out to play as much these days as he used to. I'm pretty sure that these days it takes me a full four days to recover from a night out. Back then it was day after day.
And the nakedness. What was wrong with my clothes back then? Why couldn't they stay on?
In one of my old posts I talk about getting fired from my job, because I didn't feel like showing up on Mondays. Really? I was so responsible back then.
I still like popsicles though.
