My Kind of Town
So last night I went to Portland and it got me thinking that I miss city living. Well, I can't say that I've actually lived in a city, but I've lived in suburbs where I could go to the city without such a long drive.
For the last 8 years or so I've been living in small towns, Pocatello, Albany, Corvallis. I think that I've gotten used to the slow pace, limited choices of food and entertainment, the lack of people, and the general lameness. Last night I was excited to be able to walk around the city. I like the buildings, the trains, the people walking all over. Good times.
The best part is the choices of cuisine. Portland has my favorite chicken wing restaurant, Buffalo Wild Wings, and a wealth of other restaurants just pick an ethnicity, fast food or sit down, Chicago or New York pizza, upscale or questionable. I heart food.
