If you know the significance of that number, then you're old school like me. And you wanna give me a high five.
Or what about 0.7734?
Rutgers beat South Florida today. Who didn't see that coming? How did the Bulls get to be the #2 team in the country anyway? Big East teams are lame! Nobody outside of South Florida wanted to see them in the championship game.
And I'm going to say it, Ohio State isn't all that great either. Yeah, they're undefeated and ranked #1, but it's because they play a crap schedule. The Big Ten is weak this year. This is a rebuilding year for the Buckeyes, but if they breeze through their schedule they'll be in the championship game again. After playing no real opponents.
Boston College? The ACC is as lame as the Big East. But they could be playing against the Buckeyes for the championship.
The SEC is the best conference in football right now. Check out all their top 25 teams. Too bad they all have to play each other, because now none of them will reach the championship game.
And blame it on my distance from the biased east coast media, but I think the Pac-10 is in the same boat as the SEC. Their good teams have to play each other and knock each other out of contention. OK, well Stanford isn't cream of the crop. But USC can easily take down contenders like Cal, Oregon, and Arizona State. And they can still be a contender themselves despite that whole Stanford debacle.
#5 LSU is a good team, but should they be ranked higher than #8 Kentucky, the team that just beat them?
And what of Oklahoma and the Big 12? By the way, where did Kansas come from?
Enough football, who loves Mary Poppins? Yeah, she's crazy.
Tomorrow is Meatball Panini day at the Wine Depot. Who's excited? I know I am. Best meatball sandwich. Ever.
