Happy New Year
I'm not really into Christmas/New Year's. I don't like giving out presents and to me the first of January is just another day in the life of Brian.
My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. I love getting together with family/friends, eating turkey, and watching football. No obligations such as gift giving involved, just an opportunity to be thankful that we are together. Okay, okay, I'm more all about the food and football. But until I'm rich, I'm not into the commercialism of the Christmas season.
4th of July is my second favorite holiday. This one involves barbecue and beer. Oh yeah, and there may be some fire works involved. Depends on how much beer is consumed.
My next favorite holiday is Super Bowl Sunday. So it's not officially a holiday, but come on, who doesn't have a huge party and get together to watch the game? and the commercials? Fun times. And the Monday after the Super Bowl should be a federal holiday. I mean, it would save a lot people the trouble of having to call in sick because of a Super Bowl hangover.
So there you have it. My three favorite holidays. Obviously my life revolves around food, drinking, and football. But that's a good life...
