I'm so Generation Y
I'm a hipster tonight as I sit in a coffee shop with my laptop, listening to some acoustic guitar players. Fun times. I went out and bought myself one of those sweet messenger bags for the occasion to carry my laptop in. I've kept the receipt though and intend to return it. I just needed to look cool. I'd rather have a back pack, but I couldn't find a sweet back pack at either Target or Fred Meyer. Perhaps I'll go up to Salem tomorrow to do some shopping. We'll see. I'm sort of itching for a drive out to the coast. I haven't seen Zoltar, like I previously mentioned I should do. Plus, it's actually been sunny for like 3 days in a row. What is this craziness? Course, tomorrow is football day though, with a big game for the Bengals. I may just end up as usual at a bar in Corvallis watching the game. Unless they're playing on regular TV. Hmmm let's check....
Nope, they're showing the Raiders on the regular TV this week. Too bad all the teams in the west suck. Not so much suck, but I don't really like to watch them. They're fine for the later game, but I need to see the Bengals at 10am. Actually, ok I take that back, I like it when the Bengals play the afternoon game because the bar I go to is breakfast hot spot and fairly busy for the 10am games. It's surprisingly kind of a sparse crowd for the later games. I would have expected more Hawks fans seeing as how everyone seems to talk about them so much.
Or maybe I should get up early tomorrow and head up to B-dubs for the games.... Hmmmm.... Nah. My chicken wing eating partner is not around to come with.
By the way have I ever mentioned that Warren Moon is a lousy announcer? Well, he is. Great quarterback, but sort of clueless as an announcer for the Hawks games.
Speaking of football, the Ducks and the Beavers both won today. And all those cars with their respective school banners were out in full force today. Crazy flag wavers. I'm still jealous about the whole not going to a football school thing.
Andy is a Duck now. He gets to root for a National Championship contender. Gets to hear the roar of the Autzen Stadium crowd on Saturdays cheering on their team. The 49.99% of him that is gay is going to buy a green and yellow ladies' track suit to wear to the games (true story).
