Mad, Mad, Mad
How's everyone's brackets doing? My champs (Ohio State, of course) had a big scare yesterday. But don't you want to see an Ohio State/Florida match up in the championship game? I'm doing much better than last year so far when I didn't pick any of the Final Four teams correctly.
For those of you who are Duke fans... HA!!!
Xavier beat BYU, just another example of how God roots for Catholics over Mormons.
Around here it's all about Oregon. Someone yesterday asked me who the Ducks would be playing today. My first thought was of the Mighty Ducks (I believe Emilio Estevez and the gang are playing the Hawks).
No big upsets so far, besides that Duke game. And it was only an upset because it was Duke. Winthrop was an 11 seed that won, but were not given as much attention. I picked both of those games correctly.
I was rooting for Wright State. Finally, a college that I went to making the tournament. But they were crushed in the first round.

Apparently we are talking about the Testament God, since he was harsh indeed. BYU should just be lucky God didn't decide to smite them down or blind them. That guy was kind of an asshole in the first book, but seemed to lighten up in the sequels. Sort of like Darth Vader.
Also, I saw an article that talked about overused college basketball cliches, and the list included: Punch their ticket, the big dance, going dancing, and March Madness in general.

It wasn't a huge upset, but I was suprised UNLV beat Wisconsin. I was a little bummed about the Duke game, only because I picked them to go on to the next round, but I do think they aren't as great as everybody thinks they are.
That UNLV/Wisconsin game was crazy! I don't think even die-heart Rebel fans expected that one, especially after they barely won that Georgia Tech game. Watch out Ducks the Rebels are coming...
My beloved Buckeyes almost sent me into cardiac arrest!! Self induced cardiac arrest that is…I wanted to avoid eating crow because I gibed my boss about BYU losing to Xaxier. I should have kept my faith...the Killa Nuts always comes through...okay most of the time.
As far as Florida...of course I would LOVE to see Ohio State take the title away from them...I can never look at a gator the same way after what they did to my Buckeyes. Move over Wolverines, I think we have new rivals!
But, I would also like for UNLV and Ohio State play in the final. Just so I can shut-up all of these Rebels at work!
